It’s time for something different, something exciting, something fresh and it happens to involve the voice of Steve Overland (FM / Solo / Lonerider / Shadowman) and the guitar prowess of Steve Morris (Heartland / Shadowman). Although it says “Acoustica” and suggests an acoustic vibe, it is in reality a lot more than that.

The Acoustica album is undoubtedly rock but it has feel-good elements that are so easy to listen to, sometimes it’s rocky and sometimes we have easy rock listening with elements of Blues and Folk. It all makes a “must have” album, and the addition of Steve Millington and Neil Fairclough (Queen) makes it all that more special. The Dobro guitar parts on “Blind Love” and “Could it be you” are courtesy of Jim Kirkpatrick (FM / Diesel).

There is a little bit of everything on display here and it’s so good to hear music that is pleasurable on the ears, with Steve Overland at the vocal helm and Steve Morris playing various stringed instruments there is plenty to look forward to.
